How to Register

There are several ways you can register to save lives through organ, eye and tissue donation. Once registered, we encourage everyone to have the conversation with loved ones about their decision.

Online

You can register as an organ and tissue donor online anytime. Visit RegisterMe.org or complete the short form below, and you’ll be officially registered to give the gift of life. The Mississippi Donor Registry and the National Donor Registry are one and the same. Once registered, you can manage your own registry information any time through RegisterMe.org.

Please accept the following disclosure:

By submitting this registration, I affirm that I am the applicant described on this application and that the information entered herein is true and correct to the best of my knowledge.

This registration will serve as a document of gift as outlined in The Revised Mississippi Uniform Anatomical Gift Act. A document of gift, if not revoked by the donor before death, is irreversible and does not require the consent of any other person. It also authorizes any examination necessary to ensure the medical acceptability of the anatomical gift.

Agreement *

This registration is a binding, legal document of gift. You affirm the information provided is accurate. You agree upon death to donate all eligible organs and tissues for transplant and research.

Driver Services

Another option is to register in person or online through the Mississippi Department of Public Safety when applying for or renewing your Mississippi driver’s permit, license or state ID. When you register through Driver Services, your organ donor status will be displayed on your identification as a small red heart.

Hunting and Fishing License

Mississippians can also register when purchasing a hunting or fishing license through the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks.

Using your iPhone

Register in your iPhone’s Health app. Via the “Health” or “Profile” settings you can sign up easily.

In Person at Community Events

Look out for Mississippi Organ Recovery Agency (MORA) tables at local health fairs and community gatherings and ask a representative about getting registered on the spot.
