Timothy Lewis
Timothy Lewis was always an active person. In 2012, a free heart screening revealed he had heart disease—despite never experiencing symptoms. Two years later, he received a life-saving heart transplant, a gift for which he is forever grateful.
Bobby Martin
Bobby Martin was days away from being taken off a waiting list for a new heart because his health was so poor that doctor’s didn’t think he would be able to survive a heart and kidney transplant. He received a miracle on March 4th, 2014. This is his story, his Mississippi Miracle.

Matthew Gaskin lived life to the fullest. In January of 2008 Matthew’s life was cut short by an automobile accident. He was always helping others in life and his family knew he would want to help others after his death. This is his Mississippi Miracle story.

Linda C. Amos was an active woman that was limited by her heart troubles. It was determined one day she would need a heart transplant. Her miracle came on April 15th in 2011. She then got to meet her donor family on November 11th in 2013.
Phadra Pinckney
On March 20th, 2014, Phadra Pinckney of Jacksonville, Florida met her donor family and donor’s mother Connie in Union, MS. Phadra was the recipient of the gift of a kidney and pancreas donated by Mike D. Moore in January of 2011.
Astrid Robison
Astrid Robison was five months old when she suffered a seizure in 2011. She would be a multiple organ donor. Her mother Samantha tells the story of this Mississippi Miracle.
Kelli Miller
Kelli Miller was a young lady full of life and energy. She was preparing for college and to be married when her life was cut short in August of 2011. Kelli was a registered organ donor and this is her Mississippi Miracle.
Justyce Hutto
Justyce Hutto never met a stranger and always had a smile on her face, despite her daily battle with Spina Bifida. Justyce died at the tender age of 15 and her family knew that her wish would be to help others.

A veteran teacher from Jackson, Mississippi, Vicki Taylor found herself slowing down over the past few years. She found out she would need a kidney transplant. In December 2012, she would get the transplant just before going on dialysis.
Pierce Cartwright
Pierce Cartwright was a happy little boy who lived his short life to the fullest. On the day of his fourth birthday party, Pierce drown. In the wake of this tragedy, the family selflessly thought of others and what hope Pierce could give.
Tracey Stephens
Tracey Stephens was a dad that loved his kids. In March of 2011 he suffered a stroke and was a multiple organ donor. His gift of donation saved three lives. He lives on through others and is a hero to his three kids.

Connie Dixon is an artist from Jackson, Mississippi who found out first hand the power of organ transplantation when he received a kidney after years of dealing with diabetes and then dialysis.
Chase Wroten
Chase Wroten was an organ donor in April 2011. One of the recipients of his lifesaving gifts was a family acquaintance. This is the first part of a two part Monday’s Miracle. The second part will air during National Donate Life Month on Monday, April 15th, 2013 the two year anniversary of Chase’s donation date.

This is the second part of a two part story. Chase Wroten died suddenly in 2011. One of the recipients of his lifesaving gifts was family friend David Cox.
Matthew McPhearson
Matthew McPhearson of Collinsville was a young man who loved to help others. In June of 2011 he was killed in a car wreck along with his dad Keith. Keith was unable to be a donor but Matthew saved three lives.

Joe Jackson was known as a giving person around him hometown of Rolling Fork. It was natural for the family to think of him as an organ donor because of his giving nature and because of the gifts his family had already received from others.

Danielle ‘Bay Bay’ Bryant was full of life and always smiling according to her family. She would also do anything to help someone else in need. A brain aneurysm claimed Danielle’s life in June of 2012. This is her story of donation told by her mother, Cynthia Camel and her uncle Charles Brinston.

14 year old Angelica McGill of Laurel, Mississippi was killed in a car accident in October of 2011. She was a multiple organ and tissue donor. Her family speaks about how donation reflects the spirit of Angelica and how she would have wanted to help others.

Paul Watson of Madison, Mississippi died while on vacation in Florida in 2006. He had a personal connection to organ donation and his family knew he would want to help others as his last act of love and kindness.
