The Mississippi Organ Recovery Agency is seeking a Family Care Specialist to work in a large medical center in the Jackson, Mississippi area as a vital member of the healthcare team providing care to families as they are grieving. The applicant should possess experience working with a hospital/medical center and a minimum of three years experience in nursing, counseling, bereavement care, ministry or social work. A bachelor’s degree in any of those areas is preferred. Outstanding written, verbal and non-verbal communication with families and hospital staff is a must. This job requires regular on call responsibilities, infrequent travel, and an excellent proficiency with medical personnel/hospital systems and protocols. Drug testing and background check performed prior to hire. Starting salary is based upon experience; great benefits offered.
