UPDATE: COVID-19 Response and Precautions

March 16, 2020

Dear Donate Life Family,

The safety and health of our donation and transplantation community and our staff is our top priority. As we continue to monitor the developments of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), we wanted to reassure you of the steps we are taking as an organization.

We will suspend all public events and programs through April 30, 2020 (including our annual Racing for Donation) to protect our volunteers, advocates, partners, and staff. We will share information soon about how to celebrate April’s National Donate Life Month “virtually.”

Our clinical team and hospital partners will continue their efforts to save and improve lives.

We are closely monitoring state and federal agencies, along with guidance from our own medical experts, to stay informed. Decisions that could impact our community and mission will be made with careful and thoughtful consideration.

We are hopeful that the COVID-19 pandemic will soon be contained, and we look forward to working with you soon to continue our outreach efforts.

Thank you again for your understanding during this time and continued support of our mission to save and improve lives through organ, eye, and tissue donation.

Sincerely,

Kevin Stump, President and CEO
