Mississippi Trees of Life

When planting a “Tree of Life”, a ceremony is held to celebrate the renewal of health and life given to transplant recipients while honoring donor families who gave at their time of great loss. These ceremonies center around the beauty of the tree planting. On a local level, the event generates a great deal of interest and publicity.
